ULTRASONIC
CLEANING
What is Ultrasonic cleaning?
Ultrasonic cleaning is a process in which high frequency vibrations create cavitation bubbles in a prepared cleaning solution. Ultrasonic cleaning effectively “scrubs away” surface contaminants and provides a final surface that is clean. By relying on Arrow Cryogenics to ultrasonically clean your parts, you reduce or eliminate the need for hazardous chemicals in your workplace.
How Ultrasonic Cleaning Works
Transducers are placed in or attached to the bottom of a tank to emit and radiate sound waves through a prepared cleaning solution. These high frequency sound waves cause millions of microscopic bubbles to form and grow (called ‘cavitation’). The bubbles (or cavities) implode, releasing large amounts of stored energy.
This cavitation results in a powerful energy transfer capable of displacing contaminants from the surface of the part or material being treated. Cleaning your products or parts ultrasonically through Arrow Cryogenics results in fast turnaround, consistent cleaning and a safer work environment for your employees!
Our ultrasonic cleaning services are ideal for:
- Penetrating blind holes, cracks and recesses
- Removing tightly adhering or embedded particles from solid surfaces
- Cleaning a wide range of components shapes and sizes
Arrow Cryogenics Ultrasonic Cleaning Capabilities
Arrow Cryogenics has some of the most powerful ultrasonic cleaning machines available. Some of our ultrasonic cleaning machines are located inside of our cleanrooms and used for precision cleaning. Other ultrasonic cleaners are located outside of our cleanroom and are set up with several different cleaning solutions.
Request free sample processing for ultrasonic cleaning. You can also request free sampling of passivation and electropolishing of stainless steel.
